Ambassade de France en Espagne

We won the competition of projecting a new embassy building for France in Madrid. The French government, through its public company Sovafim, decided to study the possibility, cost and gain of moving the French embassy from its present location in Salustiano Olozaga Street to Serrano Street, in the plot of the French ambassador residence. We worked for two years with the French Ministry of Foreign Affairs to design the embassy, presenting the project to the ministry’s authorities as well as to the French ambassador in Madrid. Finally, the project was not built, as the government changed and decided to stop most of Sovafim’s activity.
