House in Marrakech

The house is located outside Marrakech, in a beautiful environment of agricultural land, with olive trees and crop fields. The plot has 2 hectares, and is adjacent to an existing house that became the guest house. In order to maintain the great Atlas view, the axis of the project was set on the diagonal, following the tradition of staking out using the diagonal. We were concerned about obtaining a gradual transition from "the outside world" to the "inner protected world of the house": we used an access road not aligned with the house, a courtyard in the entrance, and a patio in the house. The patio also gives access to different parts of the house, such as an office, and a library. Once in the house, you can enjoy the spectacular views of the Atlas, and of the four hundred square meters swimming pool, elevated above the ground, as a mirror to the sky.
